Nonetheless, his body, especially his face, maintains a soft appearance, regardless of physical form.įollowing Yuuri's presumed engagement to Victor Nikiforov while in Spain, he wears a gold ring on the ring finger of his right hand. Yuuri gains weight easily, but when he is in top form, he also has slight muscle due to his exercise and ice skating. He wears gloves while skating and uses skates with standard blades. His warm-up outfit is usually a jacket and black pants with a stripe down the side. Yuuri wore layers of clothing to hide his weight gain from binge eating. He combs his hair backward when performing his programs before a crowd. Yuuri wears half-rimmed blue glasses, but while he is skating, he removes them. ![]() If you want even more character designs and other illustration notes, you may want to shell out for the settings book also.Yuuri has short, messy black hair and brown eyes. Overall, if you enjoyed Yuuri on Ice the series, and want extra information, this book is a solid go-to along with the official guidebook. I found it especially endearing they included the eye catch scenes and program scores for the skaters. This book also has a lot of (unfortunately tiny) screenshots from the series, along with cast interviews and staff interviews (which I'm waiting for merciful souls on the internet to translate lol). Keep in mind the newest Yuuri on Ice Settings book will NOT have all of the ones featured in this book! I got the Settings book first, then this and the official guide, and I'm glad I own all three. My personal favorite is the places overview, which includes layout of key locations in the series (such as Yu-Topia Katsuki layout). (Though, it should be noted the official guidebook feature a lot less pictures overall.) This book DOES feature a ton of (smaller) illustrations, including character designs and costumes. There is also a pull-out poster that can be detached, but given the other official guidebook has TWO posters, well. If you're looking for large full color artwork not found in the original series, that stops after first few pages.
